This is in the Top 20 Scarce models, being the Mk 2 version of the van in red that was only available for a short period.

It is in pretty good condition with clear screens and is totally original except for the ladder.

There seems to be quite a lot of confusion in the market about these. In simple terms, there is 405 which is usually green but which has a scarce red variation, 405M which is red and has the friction motor. Both of those are the early split screen vans. Then there is this one which is red and the only Mk2 Fire Tender and which did not have a friction motor.

I do have a red 405 (normal) which is very unusual but do check the screens on models as 423 is significantly scarcer than 405M.
