A scarce copy of 'The Land Of Greece, Described and Illustrated' by Charles Henry Hanson, published by T. Nelson & Sons, London, 1886.

Fully bound in a maroon leather prize binding with gilt stamped decoration to the boards. The spine boasts five raised bands, a black leather title panel and ornate gilt stamped decoration. There is sun fading and a slight warp to the top of both boards and some scuffing to the back board leather.

Marbled page edges. Prize book plate to the front pastedown dated 1888. Marbled endpapers. All pages and illustrations remain clean and bright.
